Atipa Linux Solutions has appointed Marc Torres as its Chief Technology Officer. Torres brings 13 years of multi-platform UNIX experience and expertise in Network Management and Systems Architecture to the role. He will lead the research and development arm of Atipa and act as a bridge to the Linux community.
Atipa will announce Torres' new role, business strategies and ventures at the LinuxWorld Expo. The company is one of the largest suppliers of pre-configured Linux workstations, servers and clusters for information management. It partners with other technology and market leaders to make its products available in complete Linux solutions for businesses of all sizes. Atipa provides Linux solutions based on Red Hat, SuSE, Caldera, and Corel Linux.
