LinuxPPC Inc. Unveils LinuxPPC 2000 with Graphical Installation Process and New Tools

LinuxPPC Inc. has unveiled LinuxPPC 2000, a new version of its Linux distribution for PowerPC computers. The product features a graphical installation process and several new tools, including a native graphical disk partitioning utility, the ability to boot directly into Linux from a CD or hard disk, and improved software ported to PowerPC processor by an independent development group. LinuxPPC 2000 is available as a standalone two-CD set for $20 and a boxed set for $49. The company has also released the source code of its new graphical partitioning utility under the GNU General Public License.
