Sleepycat Software has been shipping an Open Source embedded database for Linux for over 3 years and released version 3.0 in November, 1999. The company's Berkeley DB is the most popular Open Source database software in the world and is used by Innosoft, Sendmail, Netscape, Compaq, Motorola, Nokia, and others. Release 3.0 provides powerful new features and improved performance over Release 2.
