MontaVista Software Inc., a developer of the Hard HatTM Linux operating system for embedded applications, has announced its Hard Hat Linux cross-development toolkit for Motorola's PowerPCTM microprocessors. The toolkit enables embedded software designers to use cost-effective Linux workstations for creating embedded Linux applications targeting Motorola PowerPC processors.
