Vovida Networks to Showcase Softswitch Solution at LinuxFest 2000

Vovida Networks, a Linux-based softswitch company and pioneer in open source telephony, will be participating in LinuxFest 2000, which will be held June 20 through 24, 2000 in Overland Park, Kansas. The event will feature over 60,000 square feet of trade show display space and a four-day seminar track. Vovida will be demonstrating its softswitch solution, which allows carriers and service providers to provide competitively priced local telephony services to their enterprise and residential customers over converged datacom and telecom networks. The event is expected to attract major well-known companies like IBM, Compaq, Informix, and Oracle, as well as many startup cutting edge companies. Recent IPOs by Red Hat, VA Linux, Cobalt, and Andover have taken the stock market by storm, and LinuxFest2000 will be the first opportunity for the midwest to see what the excitement is all about.
