Linsight Launches Comprehensive Guide To The Linux Business Community

Linsight, a leading provider of information to the Linux community, announced today the launch of Linsider (www.linsider.com), a content-rich Web site that tracks activity in the Linux business community.

Specifically, Linsider will provide the most comprehensive information on the companies operating in the Linux community. The creators of Linsight are firm believers in the free exchange of information, and are acting accordingly. Starting with the launch of Linsider, Linsight information is now available under the terms of the OpenContent License. Linsight has opened its database of news and information for the world to use, allowing webmasters to include rich and fresh content in their Web sites, without forcing their readers to round-trip through various sites to get the content they need. In order to assist webmasters in syndicating the content, Linsight has created an initial backend XML file (http://www.linsider.com/syndication.php3) that contains the latest headlines posted. There is also a syndication wizard currently under development that will allow users to customize the information they receive from Linsight, allowing for the automation of fresh and original content in an XML format. Linsight's sole mission is to provide a complete information resource to the Linux community, and beyond. By combining useful content with a professional and intuitive interface, Linsight provides the Linux community with a needed resource, as well as advocates Linux to the larger computing audience. Linsight is wholly funded by Atipa Corporation.
