Lineo(TM), Inc. Appoints William P. Barnett to its Board of Directors

Lineo(TM), Inc., a leading developer of embedded Linux(R) system software(TM), announced that William P. Barnett joined its Board of Directors. Barnett, a professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, brings an extensive background in business strategy to Lineo's Board of Directors. He said he is excited for the opportunity to help guide Lineo as it expands the reach of its Embedix technology to Internet appliances, e-business devices and other budding markets. Barnett has a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and is on the editorial boards of several major academic journals, and is on the boards of several entrepreneurial companies.
