Linux@Work: A Successful Series of Conferences and Exhibits for IT Professionals

LogOn Technology Transfer has released the final report on its successful nine-city Linux@Work series, which took place in May 2000 and attracted over 2500 IT professionals. The events featured keynote presentations from industry experts and corporate sponsors including Compaq, IBM, and Oracle. This year's event was expanded to two tracks, allowing attendees to customize a program best suited to their individual needs. Despite a nation-wide strike in Norway, the series was well received and LogOn plans on expanding it further with additional dates in 2000.
