Metrowerks Joins Embedded Linux Consortium

Metrowerks has announced that it is a founding member of the Embedded Linux Consortium (ELC), which aims to promote and implement the Linux operating system in embedded applications. As a charter member, Metrowerks will collaborate with other members on efforts to drive and accelerate the acceptance of embedded Linux. The company also plans to deliver embedded Linux development solutions based on its CodeWarrior Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
