LinuxFest 2000 Opens On-Line Registration System with Support from Maxspeed and Paymentplus

Mobius Marketing, owner and producer of LinuxFest 2000, has announced the opening of a Linux-based registration system for its industry trade show scheduled for June 20-24 in Overland Park, Kansas. The on-line registration is available at www.linuxfest.com.

LinuxFest 2000 will feature trade show display space and a four day seminar track for Linux enthusiasts. The show will draw many start-up companies who are embracing the platform. The system is comprised of Maxspeed's servers and MaxStation terminals operating Paymentplus payment software using broadband wireless Internet access available at LinuxFest. Attendees can register quickly and efficiently, and exhibitors will have a record of visitor contacts at their booth. This is the first time a trade show has ever offered each individual exhibitor the ability to do on-line credit card processing using the Linux platform. The show features Linux industry leaders such as Red Hat, VA Linux and Cobalt but also draws many start-up companies who are embracing the platform.
