Guardian Digital has released the Linux Lockbox, a secure turnkey e-business server that is an open source alternative to proprietary security solutions for e-business. The Linux Lockbox is built on EnGarde, an open source distribution of Linux specifically engineered by Guardian Digital to achieve the level of security required for conducting e-business. The Linux Lockbox offers easy-to-use secure graphical report and administration tools, real-time network and security monitoring features, and multiple rackmount configurations. It is powered by Intel Pentium-class processors and supports up to 2Gb RAM. Guardian Digital's products are crafted to achieve the optimum level of Linux performance and compatibility.
