.NET 5.0 SDK and .NET Foundation Released

Microsoft has announced the release of the .NET 5.0 SDK and the .NET 5.0 Runtime. The new version includes a number of new features and improvements over previous versions, including support for Windows Server Core, improved performance, and better cross-platform compatibility. Microsoft also announced the release of the .NET Foundation, which provides a set of tools and libraries for building and deploying .NET applications on Linux and macOS. The .NET Foundation includes support for popular open source frameworks such as ASP.NET Core, SignalR, and Entity Framework.
