Linux NetworX Introduces First Vertically Rack-Mounted Cluster System

Linux NetworX introduces Evolocity, a vertically rack-mounted cluster system that runs cooler and more efficiently than standard systems. The system is composed of up to 25 computer modules in a standard 19-inch rack and incorporates Linux NetworX's ClusterWorX software for remote management. Additional modules are being developed, including an uninterruptible power supply and non-blocking switches. Evolocity is the first in a series of innovations planned by Linux NetworX to bring powerful cluster technologies to customers.
