RadiSys Partners with MontaVista Software Inc. to Promote Linux on Embedded Solutions

RadiSys has signed a partnership agreement with MontaVista Software Inc. to promote the Linux operating system on RadiSys' embedded solutions. Under the agreement, MontaVista is providing focused support on RadiSys' embedded solutions for its 100 percent Linux-based technology. The partnership will complement and enhance RadiSys' design and manufacturing expertise as they create the building blocks for next-generation Internet, communications, industrial automation, medical equipment, and transaction terminal applications. MontaVista provides access to industry-leading Linux expertise and developer assistance during critical stages of product development. Three of RadiSys' embedded motherboards have been qualified to run MontaVista's Hard Hat(TM) Linux operating system.
