Tripwire Launches Open Source Product for Linux

Tripwire, Inc., a leading provider of data and network integrity solutions, has announced the availability of its Open Source product for the Linux operating system. The software is hosted on VA Linux Systems' SourceForge and included in Red Hat Linux 7 Open Source Operating System. Tripwire Open Source, Linux Edition is functionally equivalent to Tripwire 2.2.1 for the Linux platform and issued under the General Public License. Tripwire is working with several partners to extend its data and network integrity capabilities to millions of Linux users. The software is available through several channels.
