Caldera Volution: A New Linux Management Solution for Businesses

Caldera Systems Inc. has announced the new name of its Linux management solution, Caldera Volution (Volution). The product is currently in open beta and utilizes the inherent strengths of LDAP directories to manage a half dozen or thousands of Linux systems without having to individually manage/touch each. The product will significantly benefit ASPs, ISPs, hosting companies, systems integrators and network administrators by reducing costs, saving time and increasing job efficiency. Caldera Systems has given technology back to the Open Source community since its inception, including Webmin, LIZARD, Linux Unattended Installation (LUI), Linux Installation Administration (LISA) and Caldera Open Administration System (COAS).
