Libra Computer Systems has released version 1.8.2 of its LIBRANET distribution, which is built from the GNU/Linux release by Debian as well as other sources. The CD installs over 1GB of top-rated software including industry standards such as the Netscape communications suite and leading edge software such as Mozilla M18. The new version includes some packages from Debian woody, and the Libranet administration menu has been further enhanced. Libranet Linux may be used on a standard Intel x86 compatible PC.
