The Motif toolkit is used by corporate developers to create custom, mission critical applications that are not available off-the-shelf. Integrated Computer Solutions (ICS) and MandrakeSoft have announced the immediate availability of Open Motif optimized for the Linux-Mandrake operating system.
The port was a result of a joint development effort between the two companies. The Motif toolkit is used in various industries such as aviation, finance, transportation, network communication, entertainment, defense, and space exploration. ICS recommends that enterprise customers also take a close look at Linux-Mandrake 7.2 when evaluating Linux distributions.
