KDE 2.0.1 Released: A Powerful and Modular Internet-Enabled Desktop

The KDE Team has announced the release of KDE 2.0.1, a powerful and modular Internet-enabled desktop for Linux and other UNIXes. The primary goal of this release is to improve documentation and provide additional language translations for the user interface. KDE 2.0.1 includes the core KDE libraries, the core desktop environment, the KOffice suite, as well as over 100 applications from the other standard base KDE packages. All of KDE 2.0.1 is available for free under an Open Source license. Some distributors provide binary packages of KDE for certain versions of their distribution, but these are provided by third parties and not supported by the KDE team.
