Caldera Systems Appoints Edgie E. Donakey as Vice President and Chief of Staff

Caldera Systems, Inc., a leader in developing Linux management solutions, has named Edgie E. Donakey to the position of vice president and chief of staff. Donakey will oversee the successful integration of mergers and acquisitions and act as part of the Office of the CEO. Caldera is acquiring two divisions of SCO, The Santa Cruz Operation's Server Software and Professional Services Divisions. Donakey has a background in sales, marketing, technology, and administration and has previously worked for 3Com Corporation and The Bison Group. He has also held technical and management positions at WordPerfect Corporation and Novell, Inc. Caldera is a leader in Linux-based business solutions and supports many technology projects in the open source community.
