Teamware Group and The FIEN Group Partner to Expand Teamware Office for Linux in the US

Teamware Group, a Fujitsu subsidiary, and The FIEN Group, a Southern California-based technology consulting organization have signed a partner agreement to sell Teamware Office 5.3 for Linux groupware to customers across the USA. The product includes facilities for electronic mail, time and resource scheduling, discussion groups as well as document storage and retrieval. It is an ideal intranet solution for small and medium size organizations, which need cost-effective and vendor independent support for common industry standards.

Teamware Office has been in the market since 1989 and was ported to Linux platform in spring 2000. The FIEN Group will evaluate and purchase the product through their home page at www.thefiengroup.com. Pricing starts at USD 350.00 for 25 users and USD 1000.00 for 100 users. The FIEN Group can either host the groupware solution as ASP or install it on a low-cost Linux system at the customer's site. Teamware Office for Linux is available for Caldera Open Linux, Red Hat Linux, Turbo Linux, SuSE, Red Flag and Mandrake Linux.

Besides the Linux version, Teamware Office is also available for Windows NT. The FIEN Group specializes in the use of Folio Infobase Technology, Folio siteDirector, NextPage LivePublish and NXT3, Teamware Groupware, Cabinet NG Document Management, DataEase RAD and a variety of network and telecommunication technologies.
