New Planet Software Releases JX Development Suite 2.0

New Planet Software has released the JX Development Suite 2.0, a compilation of software providing the Linux developer with a complete set of graphical programming tools. The suite includes the latest releases of Code Crusader, a graphical development environment, Code Medic, a graphical debugging environment, and JX Application Framework, a full-featured C++ application framework and GUI class library for the X Window System. Both Code Crusader and Code Medic include exciting new features like searchable on-line help and support for European languages, the new XSearch protocol, and Gnome and KDE session managers. Code Crusader version 3.0.0 incorporates a new symbol browser that allows you to locate functions, classes, preporocessor definitions, and more by easy selection of the symbol name in your Assembly, ASP, AWK, C/C++, Cobol, Eiffel, FORTRAN, Java, Lisp, make, Perl, PHP, Python, Scheme, Shell, TCL, and Vim source files. Code Medic version 1.1.0 incorporates configurable button toolbars and menus and improved integration with Code Crusader. JX Application Framework version 2.0.0 includes updates to the application framework and GUI class libraries that support the new features in Code Crusader and Code Medic, thus enabling the user to provide similar features in their own programs. The JX Development Suite is initially being released for sale through download only. The download includes Code Crusader, Code Medic, the JX Application Framework, a PDF version of the JX Development Environment User Guide, one year of Priority Email Support, and the bonus programs System G and THX-1138. Priced at $84, this package provides significant value for its convenience and technical support features.
