MontaVista Linux Professional Edition 2.1 Released

MontaVista Software Inc. has announced the release of MontaVistaTM Linux Professional Edition 2.1, a feature-rich product that provides a standard development platform for embedded applications. The product is based on kernel version 2.4.17 and supports 24 processors and 68 COTS and reference boards. It includes host-based tools and embedded target-based deployment components, as well as an expanded list of open source tools retargeted for embedded cross development. MontaVista Linux Professional Edition 2.1 also features strong documentation and is available immediately from MontaVista Software and its sales and distribution channels worldwide.
