Samsung Introduces Complete Linux Solution for Laser Printers

Samsung, in partnership with Codehost, Inc., has developed new Linux drivers that allow Samsung's award-winning laser printers to support a wide distribution of Linux operating systems. The new drivers are a result of a partnership between Samsung and Codehost, and include custom applications to install, configure and manage the printers. The Linux drivers support GDI, PCL and Postscript printing systems and are compatible with Red Hat, Caldera, Debian, Mandrake, Slackware, SuSE and Turbo Linux. Samsung will be showcasing its new Linux solution at the LinuxWorld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, August 13-15.
