The Desktop Linux Consortium (DLC) has begun a public comment and review period for its charter and corporate structure, which aims to promote and drive the improvement of Linux for desktop users. The DLC is a completely vendor-neutral trade association and marketing group that draws membership from all parts of the Linux community. The organization's first conference is slated to be held in Fall 2003. Additional companies will be announced shortly.
