MontaVista Software Announces Complementary Products for Consumer Electronics Developers

MontaVista Software has announced a range of complementary products to assist developers building advanced consumer electronics devices on MontaVista Linux Consumer Electronics Edition (CEE). These offerings include IBM WebSphere Studio Device Developer 5.0 for MontaVista Linux Consumer Electronics Edition, Qtopia for CEE, Qt/Embedded for CEE, and MontaVista Graphics for CEE. All of these products have been fully integrated and tested to run on MontaVista Linux Consumer Electronics Edition 3.0. MontaVista Software adds significant value to the software products from IBM and Trolltech by building and validating each one of them for the particular processors, video chipsets or reference board configurations supported by MontaVista Linux Consumer Electronics Edition, and delivering it in binary and source, ready-to-deploy, to device developers.
