IBM has announced new customers from various industries that are moving to Linux, marking the astounding growth in demand for Linux, from the smallest to the largest customers. From small and mid-sized business (SMB) customers Netflix and Marinalife to enterprise customer NYFIX, companies in every industry and throughout the world are choosing Linux and IBM to save costs, consolidate workloads and integrate their e-business operating environments. In response to the overwhelming customer demand, IBM is expanding its Linux practice in key areas, including the expanded IBM Global Services (IGS) Linux practice, SMB solutions testing in IBM Linux competency centers and Business Partner and ISV programs for Linux-based solutions.
