SciTech Software and Trolltech AS Collaborate on Embedded Linux Graphics Acceleration

SciTech Software, Inc. and Trolltech AS have announced a collaboration to provide desktop quality 2D graphics acceleration and incredible chip level compatibility for embedded Linux developers. As part of the announcement, SciTech has released SNAP Graphics IES for Qt/Embedded, Trolltech's embedded Linux GUI toolkit. Additionally, Trolltech now provides built-in support for SciTech SNAP. From this release, Qt/Embedded developers can add native 2D acceleration to their products by using SNAP's accelerated graphics drivers. The collaboration is expected to be a major turning point in the development of next generation systems.
