Linare Corporation partners with Amazon.com to sell fully loaded Linux PC

Linare Corporation has announced a partnership with online megastore Amazon.com to sell its fully loaded Linare PC for $199.95. The PC uses a 1.3 Ghz AMD processor, has 128 MB of RAM, 30 GB of hard-drive space and Ethernet Interface, and includes a keyboard, mouse and speaker. It also comes with Linare Linux which includes powerful Linux kernel, KDE, Open Office software (word processing, spreadsheets, drawing and presentation tools), games, Internet access, multimedia and other utilities. Purchasers have access to Linare's 24-hour, seven-day-a-week technical support phone line. The partnership is a big win for Linare and will allow Amazon's 30 million customers to purchase a highly reliable, fully loaded PC at a very low cost.
