LPI Offers First German Language Linux Certification Exams at CeBIT

The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) announced today that it will be offering its first German language Linux certification exams at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany. LPI-German, the LPI affiliate representing Germany and German-language communities of Switzerland and Austria, will offer LPI 101 exams in German and English (and LPI 201 in English only) at the Linux Park at CeBIT at 12 noon on the 18th, 20th, and 23rd of March. LPI-German will also offer SuSE SLCP certification Exams (in English only) on the 19th and 22nd at 12 noon. The cost of each exam is 30 euros and candidates must obtain a LPI registration number at http://www.lpi.org/de/register.html and bring valid photo identification to the examinations. LPI's certification program is delivered worldwide in multiple languages with the support of employers, vendors and trainers. It has delivered 40,000 Level One and Level Two certification exams globally since the program's inception. LPI supports affiliate networks on all five continents worldwide including Brazil, Bulgaria, Pakistan, United States, Japan, Canada, Germany, Australia and China, with an additional affiliate now being developed in South Africa.
