Mandrakesoft Reports Positive Operating Result and Net Income for First Half of Fiscal Year 2004

Mandrakesoft reported a positive operating result of 0.21 million euros and net income of 0.31 million euros for the first half of fiscal year 2004, with sales increasing by 36.8% and gross margin improving to 84%. The company attributes these results to the progress in E-Commerce, Royalties and the Mandrakelinux Users Club, which now represent 76% of sales. Mandrakesoft is expecting a positive net income for the entire 2003/04 fiscal year.
