Scalix Enhances Community Edition with Advanced Enterprise Functionality for 25 Users

Scalix has announced an enhanced version of its Community Edition, which now includes advanced enterprise functionality for 25 users in addition to unlimited community users. The new version raises the number of users with access to rich functionality including full-function Outlook support and group scheduling with free/busy lookup. Community Edition will continue to support an unlimited number of basic users that can use any POP/IMAP client or use Scalix Web Access (SWA) for email and personal calendaring.

Built using AJAX, SWA is one of the most advanced AJAX Web 2.0 clients in the market today. Community Edition also benefits larger organizations as they can freely deploy state-of-the-art email and personal calendaring to all users, inside and outside their organization, including partners, suppliers and contractors, on an unlimited basis, free of charge.
