SYSGO AG Expects 50% Revenue Growth in 2006

SYSGO AG, a leading European provider of embedded system software, expects revenues to grow by 50 percent in 2006. The company's recent expansion into France confirms SYSGO's successful growth strategy and its European focus.

Revenue growth goes hand in hand with an increased headcount: To support its ambitious growth targets, SYSGO is planning to increase its number of employees by 50 percent in 2006. The company's growth is fuelled by the broad demand for its product PikeOS, a strategic virtualisation solution launched in February 2005. PikeOS allows developers of embedded systems to integrate several applications or operating systems from different vendors on one single platform and controls the communication of all components. SYSGO has secured a strong position in the sector and is well prepared for expansion due to a large number of cooperations and partnerships throughout the embedded systems market. The company cooperates closely with consulting partner CapGemini and has built hardware partnerships with PowerPC and x86 platform manufacturers like DigitalLogic, MEN Mikro Elektronik, MicroSys, Phytec and TQComponents. With regards to tools, SYSGO was able to win partners like Aonix, Lauterbach, Telelogic, and - just at this year's embedded World - Esterel. These partners provide tools for automatic code generation, code verification and the development and evaluation of software for critical applications. SYSGO AG was founded in Mainz, Germany, in 1991.

Today, the company employs more than 70 people and has six facilities in Germany and Europe. SYSGO was reincorporated as a joint stock company in October 2002. SYSGO is specialized in design, implementation and configuration of system software for the embedded market with a special focus on the operating system environment. SYSGO develops device drivers, board support packages and firmware and supports its international customers with products, services and support for Embedded Linux, real time and certification for safety-critical applications. The target markets are automotive, electronics, board vendors and semiconductors, engineering and medical technology as well as aerospace. SYSGO customers include DaimlerChrysler, EADS, Honeywell, IBM, Raytheon, Rockwell-Collins, Rohde & Schwarz, or Siemens VDO.
