MySQL AB, developer of the world's most popular open source database, announced that tech industry leaders IBM and EMC have joined the MySQL Network Certified Partner Program.
The program enables ISV partners to certify that their software has been tested and is compatible with the MySQL certified database server and related tools. IBM WebSphere DataStage is recommended as an ETL and integration component of MySQL's enterprise data warehouse Scale-Out Architecture reference stack, and both companies will be sponsors of next month's MySQL Users Conference in Santa Clara, California. MySQL integrates with IBM's WebSphere Application Server Community Edition, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Studio, Rational and Lotus Domino products, as well as IBM Global Services. EMC offers MySQL Network customers a range of enterprise-grade products for data storage, protection and management, as well as virtualization and replication. The partnership is endorsed by MySQL AB for its enterprise customers.
