MySQL Certification Exams to be Offered at C3 Expo through LPI's Global Proctor Network

The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) and MySQL AB have announced a joint initiative to offer MySQL 5.0 certification exams through LPI's global proctor network, beginning with the C3 Expo in New York City.

The partnership will enable MySQL to work with a well-respected test delivery and certification organization that shares its goal of promoting Open Source professionalism through certification. LPI will offer both LPIC-1 exams (101 and 102) certification exams at C3 Expo, as well as exams for both MySQL 5.0 certifications (Developer and Database Administrator). The normal fee for MySQL exams is $200 per exam, but they will be offered at a special 50% discount at this event for $100 each. LPI will also offer exams for both MySQL 5.0 certifications (Developer and Database Administrator) at the same location and date. The exams will be held in room 2D02 and 2D03, and the schedule is as follows: Tuesday, June 27 10:00am & 2:00pm Wednesday, June 28 10:00am & 2:00pm Thursday, June 29 10:00am. More than 10,000 enterprise professionals from corporate business, finance, government, retail and education are expected at this year's C3 event in New York City.
