SYSGO releases ELinOS v4.1 Industrial Grade Linux solution

SYSGO, a European vendor of reliable device software, has released ELinOS v4.1, an Industrial Grade Linux solution for the growing Embedded Linux market. The release includes CODEO and COGNITO, SYSGO's application development framework, which enables users to analyze their Embedded Linux application's timing behavior and take a close look at the Embedded Linux resource information. ELinOS v4.1 Industrial Grade Linux supports a wide range of industrial hardware platforms and dedicated industry software components, and includes security patches for both Kernels 2.6.15 and 2.4.31. New BSPs are also included as well as BSPs for virtualization engines. SYSGO is a specialized company in design, implementation and configuration of device software for the embedded market, with customers including DaimlerChrysler, EADS Airbus, and Rockwell-Collins.
