Win4Lin Pro Desktop 4 Released with Multi-Session Support

Virtual Bridges has released a major upgrade to its Win4Lin Pro product, which allows Linux users to run Windows applications from the security of the Linux desktop. The new release includes multi-session support for two concurrent user sessions, as well as many general usability improvements and core virtualization enhancements. Supported Linux distributions include Ubuntu, SUSE Linux Enterprise, Mandriva, Red Hat, Linspire, Freespire, Debian, Fedora Core, and OpenSUSE. The product features include the ability to run Windows 2000/XP applications and desktop on Linux Desktop at near-native speed, full integration between the Linux Desktop and Windows file systems for user documents and settings, and Windows malware resistance through 'renewable' Windows architecture.
