MySQL Expands Partnership with Carahsoft in Federal Government Sector

Carahsoft has been appointed as MySQL's Federal Government Distributor & Master GSA Partner, which means that federal government agencies can now have convenient access to official MySQL information and training through Carahsoft. The partnership builds on the success of the MySQL/Carahsoft partnership established last year, in which MySQL products and services were awarded to Carahsoft's GSA Schedule for a term of five years. The affordable, high-performance MySQL database is already deployed throughout federal government agencies, including the U.S. Air Force, U.S Army, U.S. Navy, Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC); as well as the Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. The partnership is expected to add tremendous value to MySQL's public sector reseller network and continue to build MySQL's government channel of partners.
