MySQL Conference & Expo Recognizes Top Community Contributors and Partners

The 2007 MySQL Conference & Expo kicked off with a keynote by CEO Marten Mickos exploring the impact of open source software on traditional enterprise software and individual developers. The conference features over 140 technical and IT business sessions and more than 66 exhibitors. Highlights of the keynote include MySQL's financial performance, new monitoring services for its MySQL Enterprise offering, and the success of its MySQL Certified Storage Engine Program. Additionally, MySQL presented its annual awards to exemplary users, partners, and community contributors. The winners include YouTube/Google, Amp'd Mobile, Adobe, Carahsoft Technology Corp., Hewlett-Packard, Red Hat, Martin Friebe, Paul McCullagh, and Sheeri Kritzer.
