Linux Fund Welcomes Three New Members to its Board of Directors

The Linux Fund has welcomed three new members to its Board of Directors: Michael Dexter, Dan Carrere, and Ilan Rabinovitch. Michael is a consultant and community activist with a background in Hollywood film production and a specialty in open source multiplicity/virtualization strategies. Dan is an open source evangelist and solutions developer who has founded early Linux and BSD user groups and is currently a professor at universities and colleges. Ilan is a co-founder of the Southern California Linux Expo and a developer at Geek-PAC.org, and is currently employed by Edmunds.com as a Linux and J2EE systems administrator. The new members join president Candace Ramcharan, executive director David Mandel, and immediate past president Scott Rainey. Linux Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides financial and supervisory support to the open source software community.
