IBM Ventures Invests in OX Security to Expand Software Supply Chain Security Solution

OX Security has received a strategic investment from IBM Ventures, which will help the company expand its software supply chain security solution. The investment is part of a collaboration between OX and IBM to create value for developers of cloud-native solutions. OX Security's holistic approach to software supply chain security provides visibility, automation, and risk insights from Code-to-Cloud-to-Code. The company's solution is standardized to the Open Software Supply Chain Attack Reference (OSC&R) framework, making it easy for developers to adopt. IBM Ventures has joined existing investors who participated in OX Security's $34M seed round announced in September 2022. OX Security demonstrated its solution at Black Hat 2023 and will collaborate with IBM to help advance the successful adoption of DevSecOps practices.
